Consistory Report
On May 8th. a dedicated crew gathered for Clean Up Day.
Much was done with the flower
beds in front and back of church. Bushes were trimmed, flowers pots and containers in
place.
Take a look its great, of course there is also thanks to the water girls and fill ins for
keeping everything
in shape. By the way -- if you see a weed or two growing up -- feel free to pull it out.
The Church purchased a good used piano and got it tuned.
It is now sitting in place of the old
upright that is now just a memory.
The Steeple is to be repaired by Donald B. Smith. He has
told us we are scheduled some time
this summer.
Mothers Day and Fathers Day Tribute lists were compiled
-- printed in the bulletin and a
One dollar donation was asked for the name in honor or memory. This donation then goes to
the
Tender Care Pregnancy Center -- a fitting tribute to the honor we lift up for our Mothers
and
Fathers. The Tender Care Pregnancy Center tries to encourage life for any baby being born
under trying circumstances. Our donation this was $108.00.
